  • 67/33 Marsanne/Rousanne. Barrel fermented in neutral French. Medium nose has some light spice, yellow flowers, lemon cleaner, almond or cashew. Palate is different, candied almond, praline, pear skin, lemon zest, then kind of drops off, lower acidity so doesn't carry far in the finish. Different, fun to try.

  • A Marsanne/Roussanne blend from WA State? Yes please! I love the fact that Rotie Cellars is willing to try something different. In this case, it works quite well.

Very refreshing on a hot evening in early June. No detailed notes however I distinctly recall some very pleasing notes or orange blossom and honey suckle on the finish. Worth seeking out if you can find it.

  • Friends and I tasted this at the Seattle tasting room on 10/14/17. It had a rich, ripe bouquet of peach, pear, melon, lemon zest, herb, almond and toast aromas. The palate was rich, juicy and dry with flavors of peach, melon, apricot, lemon herb and almond.

  • Needs at least an hour to open up right now. Lemon, chicken broth, and pine tree on the nose. Lemon pound cake and more savory flavors on the palette. Creamy like a Chardonnay but with more lemon bitters to balance the creaminess.
