  Bern's steakhouse. Enjoyed along with a 1975 Souverain Cabernet Sauvignon and a Ridge 1979 Zinfandel. Four of five guests rated this as the wine of the night. Decanted and served from a cool cellar. Cork in excellent condition. Wonderful smoky nose, complex wine with a long finish. Excellent condition, great experience.

  From a cold cellar, decanted. Beautiful ruby/garnet with not a hint of bricking at edge. Nose of green mint, black tea, cherries, earth. Same on the palate with balance, elagance, yet still very focused. Stunning wine, what a surprise! Finish was 45 seconds long. Thanks Rene!
