A very nice typical bourgogne. Nothing flashy, the fruit is fading quickly. Dry finish. Might get it again if it's available, but in a younger vintage.

Pale Straw colour, medium viscosity. Nose of vanilla, cloves, lemon, white flowers. Medium bodied, medium plus acid, restrained oak usage. Really fresh, lemon, vanilla, nutmeg, with a really lingering finish. One of the best bourgogne blanc's I've had in a while, beats a lot more expensive wines.

Pausing for the Cause Fundraiser and Dinner (Obelix - Chicago IL): Freshly buttered popcorn, this is fun and rich, yet easily bright and vibrant enough. Very good for its level, and maintaining its freshness.

Quick note. Delicious. Well above level; likely declassified Chassagne. Balanced, full flavors and acidity, coming into its own.
