Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Strong aroma of oak and apples. Super duper oaky wine. Apple and beeswax under a sheen of smoky oak. Body is waxy and textured, very scrumptious. Thankfully, it finishes with enough acidity to counterbalance the aggressive oak. I enjoyed it, but I think it could take a few years for the oak to really integrate. Should be singing in 2021 or so.

Tasting it blind would have fooled me into thinking it's Californian, though.
