Mavens pickup party: this one not in our consignment although we got the riesling from the same winery. Pale red with translucent rim; characteristic PN aroma, slightly sweet on the palate, high acidity. Interestingly I confused this with a PN from California's Central Coast which shocked me.

Taste North Canterbury 2018 (Christchurch, New Zealand): A good middle-road New Zealand Pinot Noir, from the North Canterbury region. Cherries and cranberries, medium-bodied with a savoury tannin core and earthy notes on the finish.

Red fruits all over, great acidity, excellent expression of New Zealand Pinot Noir.

Spicey with a underripe black cherry. A green rhubarb and green tomato leaf and stem component. Very savory and would be great with the right meal

Juicy cherry & red plum. Toasty cedar spice, minerals, and snappy acids.
