wow, great wine for great price ($90)... at least in the context of current Burgundy pricing... this was good over five nights I tried it, and got better and better as it went... big bold palate with reddish fruit and plenty 'o punch, seemed to pick up nuance over the nights, and had good acidity to check the richness/boldness of Corton and '15... feels like this may be really singing in 30-40 years, yum... 2 pts of upside I think

During a Domaine tasting. Starting from 2014 this under the radar Domaien has stopped producing its Corton Grand Cru and bottles its two differnet plots separately. A "Corton Le Rognet et Corton" and a "Corton Les Marechaudes". Interesting to see them side by side now. TN: Discrete nose of red and also dark fruit with more earth but also mint and spices. Masculine but with well measured tannins. Good complexity. I preferred this wine, my wife the more fiminine Marechaudes.
