  Atypical but highly enjoyable Pinot from Alto Adige vintage 2012.
  Brownish hue. In aroma and on palate very fruit driven, raspberry and strawberry. Strong Pinot acidity but also very strong oak influences. Vanilla, caramel and coconut but also strong astringency that I suspect derive from the oak rather than the grapes. Comes together in an odd kind of balance.
  Medium finish with mostly sweet flavor.
