Pale green color. Attractive nose with ripe apple aromas, some earthy tones, a little bit of rustic farmhouse character and a gentle hint of funky spiciness. Dry and refreshing on the palate with rather straightforward flavors of ripe apples and some spicy apple peel bitterness. Very low and gentle carbonation. The medium-long finish is bright and refreshing, but a bit more complex than the midpalate with nuances of earthy barnyard, bruised apple, leather and baked apple supporting the brighter and more tart yellow apple note.
A tasty and positively straightforward everyday cider with no thrills nor frills, but just pure, well-made apple character. Nice and smashable.
