  • A blend of organically grown Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard and Gros Manseng.

Rather neutral and thin pale green color. Expressive nose with aromas of white peach, tomato leaf, some passion fruit and hints of currant leaves and whitecurrants. Sauvignon Blanc really shows. The wine is crisp and acid-driven on the palate, but full-bodied and weighty enough to feel balanced and not just excessively sharp. There are intense flavors of whitecurrants, green apples and white fruits, but also a surprisingly Riesling-like note of sweet, aromatic apple, some apple and even a touch of petrol. The finish is clean but a bit short with flavors of steely minerality, fresh yellow apple, some whitecurrant, a hint of gooseberry and a touch of kerosene.

A decent Sauvignon Blanc-driven white that is otherwise pretty average, but that curious hint of Riesling gives it some extra layer of interest. Not enough to make the wine particularly good, but enough to make it stand a notch above the ocean of average. Drinkable everyday white with good balance.
