Still young, citrus and apple, high minerality, lean but precise, high acidity, more typical for a German than an Austrian Riesling, very good with further potential

Apple, rhubarb and lemon nose. On the palate Granny Smith apples with pral, unripe peaches, salty notes and a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium acidity, strickt and sharp - quite good not not the best Gaisberg I have tasted.

Tasted double-blind. The color is a very steely, faint greenish yellow. Medium viscosity. On the nose, some stone fruits, white flowers, and river rock. On the palate, lemon-lime aide and minerals with ripping acidity. I called Grüner but wasn’t surprised that this was Riesling. I need to get more familiar with these wines. Delicious though…I may have lost a layer of enamel on my teeth.

Stonefruits, yellow apple, lemon and physalis; golden autumnal notes; classy petrol and honeyed Riesling flavors; some herbal notes that together with the apple flavors remind me more of a Grüner Veltliner; extremely mineral and with lots of depth, a lovely Riesling. At the same quality level as the excellent 2015. - 91 points

Tastes like a classic Reisling, then turns slightly sweeter as it opens up
Needs an hour to open up
