Really not red wine. More a pale garnet. Clear with no sediment. Some bright fruit on the nose. Not much else on the palate except for moderate acid and soft tannins. A nice option in place of rose.

A Long E! like in Piedmont or weekend or Ely. Or like in Grignolino that drinks like a dark rose’. Crimson glowing red fruits and herbs. Wild strawberries, bing cherries, and Rosemary oil. Refreshing with a little bite.

Lot L01B20; probably meaning bottled in 2020, i.e. based on vintage 2019. 13% alcohol.
Youthful, translucent and quite pale raspberry red color. Youthful, fragrant nose with aromas of raspberry juice, some peppery spice, a little bit of sappy herbal character, light fruity notes of wild strawberries and a hint of sour cherries. The wine is lively, crunchy and rather light-bodied on the palate with bright flavors of cranberries, peppery spice, some sweet strawberries, light primary notes of jammy raspberries and a hint of sour cherry. Quite high in acidity with friendly medium tannins. The dry finish is lively, youthful and quite acid-driven with primary flavors of raspberries, cherry juice, some peppery spice and a hint of marmaladey red fruit.
A nice, pleasant and tasty little bistro wine. Nothing challenging, but nothing too simple nor pedestrian either. Super-drinkable on its own and quite versatile as a food wine. Fun stuff.

Smooth with lots of berry. Nice but not outstanding. Probably perfect by itself a sunny afternoon.
