  I drank four bottles of this wine over the past four years or so and I think it was too early. This was the best bottle of them all. One more bottle left and I will give it another year. The colour is showed age, but not too advance. The nose is funky with mushroom and leather but still offered sweet wild cherry and touch of strawberry. The palate started out tannic, but the wine put on weight in the glass and balanced the tannins nicely. Good finish. Very enjoyable lunch wine.
