A soft and perfumed wine with usual Pauillac notes of cassis on the nose and fruit on the palate. Medium bodied with refined tannins. Overall well balanced.

I wonder where this wine was sourced from. I am a member of the Wine Society and the 2012 is the current vintage available, the 2013 most certainly is not. I look forward to your response.

Some bottle variation. Lesser to 2012, with less balance and complexity.

At Blockley. Short decant. Opened up over time. Classic blackcurrant, cedar, etc. Good but not stunning, although great talking point/story behind it.

Opened up my first of the batch. Very forward and pretty well integrated already. Caramel and vanilla nose. Mouth was pleasant but not very long.
Not as good as the 2012 on first tasting, but may improve with a little time in bottle. Won't hang about for years like the '10s seem to be.
