Concentrated with an everlasting finish. A lot of energy still in the tank of that full bodied offering. Blueberry, blackberry, oak, vanilla and plum. Good acidity and tannins are still holding tight. Impressive. NI:4, FI:23, FC:8, B:4, L:5

First experience w this property, gift from a colleague. Not decanted, ~2 hrs slow ox. Nose is old Bordeaux; damp cellar, aged barrique, earth, mushrooms. Good balance of austere red fruit, fig and tea. Wine shows it's age and is nicely balanced, if a bit more lean than I'd prefer. 82% CS 13% PV, 5% CF, I imagine this is just beyond its peak windows. Nicely done and enjoy!

Solid nose, cherry, a little blackfruit, can sense a bit of oak and smidge of leather.
3.5 hr decant.
Mouth of majority cherry / stone fruit, decent tannins and oak Integration. Bit too much ripe cherry not enough baked fruit, oak and leather that I love in oakville stuff... a little too much acidity on the finish from the stone fruit. A little out of balance and a little lacking in the persistance department initially, but after time in the glass the acidity softens up, and the wine becomes more balanced.
Overall good representation of a typical Oakville effort, and great QPR

Just a really solid valley floor style Napa cab. Enjoyable with all the pieces in the right place.
