Incredible minerality - tasted of chalk and limestone. Also earthy notes, bright red fruit, soft tannins - in perfect balance. Truly ethereal and why I love burgundy so much. This was extraordinary and yes, 2005 or not, ready to go.

a bit young now, but couldn't resist indulging. expressive nose of rasberry, blackberry, truffles, wet stone, initially smooth on entry but builds to a full, lengthy almost mouth-watering finish. definitely benefited from an hour of decanting.
