  • This is a little lacking in body and structure, and is a little light on complexity, but I still think you could do much worse for $10, and it's a fine option to accompany food for a non-wino crowd. Medium(+) ruby color that's hinting towards purple. The dark red fruits from the sangiovese are complimented by some black fruits from the syrah on both nose and palate; in addition to that it smells like potting soil, fresh herbs, and minerals, and tastes like black tea, dry leaves, bitter orange, and minerals. Light bodied with medium acidity and length. Have it with red sauces, pizza, Portuguese BBQ'd chicken, and the like. 86+
