Colour: lemon (Much lighter than the first 3 bottles) Nose: medium intensity. Buttery, lemon, slight honey and vanilla, mineral, bread. Palate: full bodied. Medium acidity. Medium length.
Was surprised by the colour, first 3 bottles were closer to medium gold. This one was still very fresh. Very good.
So far the score out of 5 bottles I opened. - Oxidised and undrinkable 1 - Oxidised very slightly and still nice to drink 1 - mature and nearing end of life and nice to drink 2 - Mature but still on the fresh side, very nice to drink 1

Colour: lemon/golden Nose - Immediately after opening: Muted sweet buttery. Nose - 1 hour later: lemon, creamy buttery. Nice. Palate: very full bodied. Medium acidity. Length is short.
Good wine, absolute bargain at 220hkd. 2006 was way better in length complexity & intensity in comparison, but this was expected for 2003 I suppose.

After the other Burg that was oxidized, I was worried as this was certainly golden. On the nose a bit of vanilla, lemon, and a tiny bit of oak. On the palate? Full whoa. Balanced fruit, honey, verve. All there. Fantastic. thedrunkencyclist.com

Retail $55. I poured and the golden color scared me. A lot. I have had a bad run of pre-mox white Burgs and I thought “here we go again…” There was some oxidation here, but it was slight. Unfortunately so was the fruit. Very Good still, but not a lot more, sadly, which means I need to drink the other two bottles soon. Anyone want to help? In the name of science, of course. Good to Very Good. 86-88 Points. thedrunkencyclist.com
