I probably served it too cold but then it was a 90 degree day and we were sipping it outside. Nonetheless, as delicious as ever. The lighter use of oak makes the fruit really shine through, and avoids the big buttered toast of many other Pacific coast chards.

Very floral on the nose. Also toasted nuts. Dense palate with an acidic lift and notable minerality. Some toast from the oak, but its subtle and nicely integrated. Super long. Awesome wine, could easily mistake it for a fine 1er Cru Burg.

Very well could have been puligny. The acidity brings great freshness and white flowers emerge after an hour. The finish is very very long.
