  • The nose was not very prominent with light fruit mostly cherry, however, plum and cherry fruit were very evident on the palate with some nice spice that gave the wine balance and added interest to the fruit and underlying earthiness. Soft and pleasant with a nice finish that lasted longer than many Pinots that just push the fruit at you.

  • Wonderful earthiness to this Pinot. Fruit filled with tobacco. Took about 45-60 minutes to open up. Still remembering the experience the next day.

  • Plum and tobacco on the nose. Full-bodied with a lot of fruit and some spiciness that combine for a very nice drinking experience. Opened up significantly after a half hour or so.

  • Serious bottle variation at play here, as this was far and away a better bottle than the one consumed a year ago. Funky-heady nose is fairly fun and weed-free. On the flabby side of things, but pleasantly constructed otherwise and shows up with some welcome grip at the end.

  • Fruit-scented candle wax and petrol dominate the nose, but there is also some black olive, bacon, ripe plum and tar components. The acidity is still pretty strong in this wine, and on the palate some raspberry jam, blackberry, and rare beef come through, with some asian spice and maybe some green banana peel. Body is quite silky, but the finish doesn't maintain that same silkiness, although it is quite nice also. I get plum, kiwi, oak, and raisins on the finish, and it lasts maybe 20 seconds.
