  • Drunk on an evening with a number of other Cabernet Francs. For me the best of the night - but I am biased.

  • Had a quarter of the bottle on Saturday evening and most of the rest on Tuesday and Thursday following with just the cork replaced and the bottle on the counter. Good overall results throughout. The wine is a lustrous medium or dark garnet. Nose is floral, herbal, red and black fruited with hints of chocolate and spice. Nicely complex. Mid-weight mouthfeel. Palate has similar elements to the nose with bright acidity and notes of black raspberry, black cherry and black plum. Moderate tannin. The chocolate emerges over time on the palate and the herbal and spice notes are like “seasonings” on the palate. Nicely long finish. More elegant than powerful. Quite enjoyable and if you ask me, this should last a good while in a proper cellar.
