Once again from the black synthetic stopper, my last one. Once again the wine is beautifully colored with a burgundy-to-purple core. Once again, the nose is of raisins. However, pleasantly after 15 minutes, the degree of raisin falls off and currants, black cherry and red fruit pits all come through. The wine shows good depth and some complexity, but the raisined element never is too far in the background. 14.9% alc. With BBQ (pork) ribs and venison tenderloin. Recommended with reservations.

Popped and poured. Lovely dark color and amazing array of black fruits, spice, tannin and a generous finish to remind you how rockin it is. Very smooth!!If you have any try one now as it is cruising so sexily down 101 with the top down on a georgous CA day.... but has enough gas left for an easy 4-5 years in the garage.
