I would impute a price of 9.50/b for this bottle and 7.50 for the Maculan. Pale straw color with green tinge, modest nose, grassy with very good mouthfeel. Trying my first bottle of this with salmon and tuna sushi may not have been a fair test--it seemed lost, well before the wasabi. Stored vertically (screwcap) in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" as I've become less convinced that they can be meaningful to others. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this notable when considering quality, age, and price but consider that conditional; I'll try again without food or with more complementary food.
