A brilliant expression of buttery, malo vînted Cali chardinanny. Rich, thick, mouth coating but beautifully integrated. One of my favourite Cali chards in this style.

This is a really lovely mineral driven chardonnay. Extremely pure, fresh and invigorating. Shows prominent notes of lemons, green apples, wet stone and orange rind. It's rather lithe and dances nicely all over the pallet, with great acid lift and wonderful balance. Really refined, well integrated with a long promising finish. Lot of upside here.

Chateau Boswell: Yellow citrus, white peach, yellow apple skin, lemon zest, and some white stone. Fairly acidic, but providing nice energy and lift, especially on the back end where the grip clenches the jaw and drives the core fruit on to the back of the palate. A little bracing at times, but air helped level the seesaw of fruit and acid and allow the purity to shine.
Give this wine a year in bottle to better balance out. 93+ points for now.

Love the rich, honey coloured, bold and rounded fruit. Bears no resemblance to old world Chard, and is the better for it.
