Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Clear light ruby. Feral, funky nose. Medium weight, actually quite good amplitude for Loire Pinot. Tart cherry and tremendous soil, brambly finish with the brett returning to render the finish not completely clean. This definitely needs a few years, but will its flaws worsen over time. Love the amount of soil and character, but in this general price range, I think the Kuentz-Bas from the same vintage is a better bet.
