This bottle suprised me, in the past all Cab Franc's that I have had, have pencil shavings on the nose. This wine was lighter in color than I expected, and had a tinge of pencil shavings on the nose, but blueberries, and cherries were there also. It was almost floral in nature.
On the palate, the wine was smooth, the tannins were in check, and I tasted spicy cherries and some vanilla. A nicer bottle than I expected.
