Notes of black raspberry, spice, and light earthy nose. Palates shows the raspberry again with hints of plum (after sitting open, red cherry appears), hint of nuttiness, touch of herb and oak spice, just enough earthiness to make it interesting. Still drinking well but can see this dropping off dramatically. Drink now.

I had a glass of this a few weeks ago and didn't take notes, but I wanted to say to anyone out there still holding this - take heart, it's tasting great! I didn't mean to keep this around for so long and had low expectations - I like this bottling, but KWC is so fruit-forward and I wasn't sure how well it would hold up even at age 5 - but this wine shows a depth that younger bottlings do not and was extremely enjoyable.
Drink now because it's tasting so good, but hey, maybe it'll keep developing for a couple years, what do I know?

Very nice Oregon Pinot, especially with a bit of extra age on it.

On day three it is still a lovely Pinot... if this is intended to be entry level... it is fantastic!

Tasted after 1 hour of air. Some pronounced funk on the nose. Light fruit notes. Bit too sweet. Don't like this as much as the last bottle.
Tasted again on day 2. Funk has blown off. Still too sweet and not enough acid for my palate. Still 87 points.
