  • This wine is made from a cocktail of 50 % Grenache & LLadoner Pelut, 35% Carignan, 15% Syrah. Unlike many others from a similar cocktail it is much more refreshing and savoury fruited with marked fine minerals, hints of olives, balsam and fine herbs together with fresh acidity and decent backbone which makes the wine very digestible, even treacherously so in view of 14.5% alcohol. Very good.

  • Deep ruby in the glass. Bit green on the nose, but showing much more than just fruit - some Mediterranean herbs, baking spices and earth. Carignan gives this a good kick and really supports the light fruitiness that the Grenache brings in. Will be better in 5-6 years.
