"Holy shit, it's that guy from Jurassic Park!" You're most likely to hear this on a Wednesday night during your after-work pub session, not during a tasting of Riesling in Singapore. Sam Neill, the proprietor of Two Paddocks, is as you may know, Dr. Alan Grant from your favorite childhood movie - Jurassic Park. Are his wines as good as his acting career? Well, I didn't try his praised Pinots, but his Riesling was damn delicious.
Grapes are grown organically on schist soils, which give the wine a pristine sense of freshness and purity. Bright notes of lemon juice, ripe peach, honeysuckle and butter toasted apple (is that a thing?). Yummy mouthfeel offering fullness with tons of crisp. The sweetness (10g/L) is not overwhelming for a second and if you don't have a trained palate, you probably wouldn't even notice that this falls into the off-dry category. A perfect picnic wine with which I see myself laying in a meadow dazed from the sun and the alcohol in the bloodstream.

Color pale yellow , green tinge clear and bright 15/15 Nose first aromas are of white flowers , followed by lime juice, kaffir lime leaf and spice , harmonious complexity and balance 28/30 Palate label states med dry so I guess 10-12g/l sugar nicely balanced by fresh acidity , medium mouthfeel with minerality texture and long persistent finish 40/44 Overall great summer drinking , fresh , balanced , uncomplicated 9/11
