Between the cheeky, funky bottle shape and design, the unusual combination of Long Island producer I enjoy and respect and Argentine malbec sourcing, light coloring, and modest $12 price, I couldn't resist trying one of these. Very light rosy color that has that Provençal appearance. Aromas of rose petal, lime, grapefruit, a light funk, and river rock. Medium to medium (+) body and acid, medium finish, a suggestion of effervescence, and it really tastes almost like one of those carbonated water beverages that's been flavored with a hint of red fruit and had a lime squeezed in it. Which is to say a pretty good sipper for a hot day I guess. Definitely better rosés out there, but interesting to try and works as a porch pounder.
