I did not take detailed notes, but I can say that, after a 3-hour decant, the wine was delicious and it provided a very good accompaniment to our braised lamb shanks. It is in a good window now, but has the structure to go for some years yet, so there is no hurry to drink.
Great QPR @ $26 from WTSO. It drinks well above that price point.

This was delicious after a 4-hour decant. The body was moderately full and the tannins at just the right level. The predominant fruit was black cherry. I detected notes of vanilla, sandalwood, coriander, chocolate, and perhaps even cardamom. Drink now if you have this one; the acidity is starting to fade just a bit. It's at peak now.

I don't drink a lot of Napa Cabernet nowadays. However, I bought this as it was a winery we liked a lot on our last visit to Napa, about 8 years ago. And, the price was right. Opened a bottle tonight and got caught a bit off guard on the structure and heft of this wine! This got opened after the meal, and I think it suffered for it. If I were to open another bottle now, I wouldn't do so without a well marbled cut of steak from the grill. I think it would help mitigate the tannin. Otherwise, I'd say this is a very good quality wine and a candidate for a few more years in the cellar.

Nice solid cab. Good structure. No wow factor for me.
