Nice CDP, probably needs more age. Nice toast, viscosity and looks like it will get better. *2nd night breathed 24 hours. Exquisite. Young and will get better, but great now! Very good bottle, top notch. And will be better 10+ years. Recommend.

This deep ruby wine is a blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 30% Syrah that opens within an hour in decanter to deliver an attractive aromatic package of Montmorency cherries, blackberries, Provençal herbs, baking spices and white pepper. Medium-to-full-bodied, freshly acidic and with nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%), it delivers flavors mirroring the nose and stays solid on the mid-palate. The wine's oak is seamless and the tannins, while plentiful, are finely textured. Finishing with impressive length, this is a quality Châteauneuf that will provide substantial enjoyment throughout the decade. Drink now-2030.

It is impossible not to see, taste and feel the richness, depth, sweetness and purity of the fruit here. Lush in texture, long and with depth of flavor, give this some time in the cellar to further round out, soften and add more nuance. The wine is a blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 30% Syrah.

Not harsh. Smooth, intense flavor. (5/5/2023: That was all I wrote at the time. Sorry.) We bought a bottle and are holding it until about 2026. Per vintner "Can be kept over 10 years. Serve at 64 degrees. Good with full-bodied cheeses."
