  • Light/medium body Alsace pinot noir. On opening, there were pretty but muted aromas of cranberries and dried flowers. As the wine got air, it became more aromatically intense but still overall on the reserved side. The palate was more generous. With air, mineral/rocky aromas and flavors emerged with hints of sous bois moving in and out of the foreground. Maybe a bit less acidity than I prefer on my pinot noir. On the whole, holds its own against most offerings from Burgundy at this price point. Nothing wrong with opening this now but also no rush. I will likely give my other bottle 2-3 more years to mature.

  • As the other notes indicate, this is a nice medium weight Pinot with lots of baking spice and a good mouthfeel; the finish is on the short side.

  • Hazy light cranberry red. Light to medium light in weight, with spice laden aromas and light airy red fruits. Pleasant and fresh.

  • Quite light coloured and medium- bodied at most, it showed Pinot fruit which got more attractive and fragrant as the bottle progressed as well as lively moreish acidity and fine minerals. At first there was an odd powdery perfume which receded sonewhat and the finish was not very long. The first of these blemishes will probably disappear with a little more time. Elegant and good though.
