Bright red fruits and cherries, grilled fennel, some toasty herbs and seasoned leather. Thought it is fruit forward, it is not jammy. Palate is sweet and fruity. It has sufficient acidity in the mid-palate to clean the sweet fruits. Some earthy spices towards the finish which has a bit of tannic bite. Very fresh, simple and uplifting drink but disjointed transition. A summer night easy going Merlot which is meant to be drunk a little cooler than norm for that refreshing palate. Not really meant for aging. Pop and drink. Too sweet for my liking.
