  Initially closed, but opens quickly to a nice floral nose. Darker color than I expected, Dark fruit. Clearly a blind; I never would have been able to call this blind.

  At Rossignol dinner. Drank ok. Too much wood still present. nice dark fruit quality. But I can remember drinking a ridge wine where the wood had not properly integrated by this point in its life.

  Big old lumberjack of a wine. At the end of its life. Would have been better five years ago. Still drinkable. Enjoy with a cheese plate or a cigar after dinner.
