Pretty uneventful, dare I say not worth it. One of the more run of the mill Chiantis, a “vino da tavola” in the truest sense. Doesn’t offend, but doesn’t delight. Cherry, earthy, short finish, high acidity, pucker bouquet. I’d skip next time.

PnD let air for 30mins.
Lots of up front red fruits with a touch of earth on the nose.
Nose follows the palate.
Lovely wine missing a bit of complexity and finish. Drink up over the next three to five years.

Toast, smoke, currant, cherry, and floral nose. Fresh fruit flavours with good acid and tannic grip; medium in body, good length.
3.5/5
