Nice style with apples, pear and hints of peachy-citrus, not overly complex but enough vanilla-caramel toast treatment to make it interesting on a creamy med+ finish.

Recent one-off discounted ($21.99) purchase from the big box wine store. I've been an occasional purchaser of this bottling, and to a lesser extent, some of Testarossa's single vineyard pinots, in the past (I like the winery, if not the tasting room, which I think provides a very canned tasting experience). My first use of my holiday gift Coravin, with a short slow ox. Nice, medium nose of sweet fruit and orange blossoms. On the palate, sweet pears, stone fruits, figs, orange blossoms, lemon oil and moderate amounts of oak and vanilla. Light-ish yellow, medium bodied, light to medium legs. Medium acidity, no obvious tannins or heat, moderate persistence. The acidity does a great job of holding the elements together and keeping this wine pretty food friendly (great complement with seared swordfish), although it also works well as a standalone drinker. Interesting to drink this after the Aubert a few days ago, as there is a similarity in the flavor profile (but not in nose, complexity, persistence, or, for that matter, price). At this price, a great everyday white. 90-91
