Light Rhone-ish style, very dry, slightly nutty, mineral. A better food wine provided the latter is not overpowering or spicy. I think there are better options on the market in the similar style category; the Z-Blanc from Zaca Mesa comes immediately to mind.

In search of something like a house white, I thought I would try some from the excellent Aniche Cellars in the Columbia Gorge. This is a Rhone-ish blend. The color was surprisingly pale, almost to the point of colorless. Very dry, slightly nutty - Dulcie said almonds and made a face. Not for her I guess. I liked the texture and the earthy, nutty quality; maybe the flavor a little thin.
