Developed aromas which are slightly vetegal and wet-wooly reductive. Most of the fun happens on the palate where generous flavours of lemon curd are underlined by vanilla spice to great effect. The attack and midpalate texture is notably smooth, while buffered acidity as well as salinity bring excellent freshness that fully comes into play on the finish and aftertaste. Drinking really well now, it should keep for a couple of years more.

Lots of "drink sooner than later" notes below, but I can just say that this is super delicious and in a great spot, without feeling the tiniest bit "old". As most often is the case with Le Grappin, feels made with a delicate hand and is almost too easy to drink.

Delicate gooseberry nose, slightly reductive. Fine mouthfeel, elegant and balanced taste. Honey and melon. Exquisite. Good acidity. Doubtful if this will be very much better with more cellaring.

Buttercup yellow; sweet 'n' sour nose, has a mix of vegetal & cracked stone but also a jarring element; an inviting, absorbing entry swamped by gangly acidity; a screechy finish. Safest to drink up.

Flint, citrus, slightly oxidized apple. Med body and length. Nice but not the best value
