Nose: Bright, red fruit with slight floral notes, and spice (it's there but not overwhelming. A nice, slight funk to it as well (like leather in a barnyard).
Palate: Mellow red fruit (darker, red taste than its brighter smell). A soft yet deep and mellow type of earth/minerality to the taste..
Dark ruby but still translucent. Medium plus bodied. Dry with smooth, grippy tannins. Slightly savory as well. The dark red fruit is well integrated with everything. Good finish of about 4-5 seconds (I can't tell if there's slight oak to it.. usually that doesn't count for me but if there is, it's not bad). Enjoyable wine at a great price.
