Nose: Lots of initial ripe red fruit like sweet cherries, some cranberries, some oak.. and juiciness on the nose (maybe from the acidity). The fruitiness then soon fades away into slight spice and deep earth (with some heat) as the oak stays. After some time in the glass, vanilla notes begin to appear.
Palate: Lots of red and purple fruit, juicy, some deep earth and slight bitterness (in a nice way).. finishes with the same earth, slight minerality, slight bitterness, slight spice and some heat. This might be the first wine where I can actually use the descriptor 'jammy' (and I like it!).
Deep ruby colored. Dry but very slightly sweet, not enough to call it off-dry.. with low, soft and supple tannins. Medium body with moderate acidity. Decent finish of about 4 seconds. This is amazing for the price, greatest quality to price ratio I've had yet. Really smooth and enjoyable and just lacks some structure. Decanting for ~30 minutes will definitely helped as this changed with some time in the glass. You can open and enjoy these without feeling guilty about not finishing (I did..). I'm not sure how long this can cellar since it's missing some structure but the acidity should be able to help it age a few years at least. Again, ridiculously good quality to price ratio at $3.00 a bottle.. what a gem! I never thought I would find something this good at this price. With some structure, this could've made the 90 for me easily.

nose: medium cabernet Sauvignon fruit; palette: less fruit and more flat, if only the nose had lived up to the palette

$8.99 for. 1.5 ml. Jammy fruit forward, soft, quaffable, quite rich and concentrated. Solid 87 especially for the $$!
