  Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
  
  Red and black fruits on the nose with cedar, spices and chocolates.
  
  Medium plus in body, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity.
  
  Showing black plums, cooked cherries, spices, cedar, licorice, dark coffee, cola, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs, light earth and peppercorn.
  
  Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
  
  This 9 year old Merlot from Santa Clara Valley in California is drinking beautifully now. I had it almost 4 years ago, and it is so much better now. I didn't decant it this time, and just let it open up in the glass.
  
  Showing nice complexity with a smooth mouthfeel. Rich, yet elegant. Spicy and tangy.
  
  Feels like a Napa Merlot.
  
  Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years. A delicious wine.
  
  Good right out of the bottle, and a great sipping wine. Pairs nicely with food as well.
  
  A blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. Aged for 36 months in oak barrels (25% New).
  
  14.5% alcohol by volume.

  Nice merlot. Soft and round, but nice tannin at the end. Red and black fruit nose, especially black cherry. Ripe red and black fruit on the palette also. Paid 21 and will buy again and again.
