100% cabernet. This is drinking stellar right now. The 1st of 2 bottles purchased at a private Fisher Wines wine dinner at a good friend's home in Charlotte NC with the Fisher family daughter in attendance 10 years ago and both time and proper cellaring have been very kind to this bottle. Highly recommend, drink or hold but leaning heavily on the drink - no further upside to further cellaring anticipated and at our purchase price this wine is quite a good QPR wine right now. Enjoyed after dinner on our deck at the cabin in Blowing Rock NC in the NC High Country and the setting could not have been more perfect with the long summer mountain evening. Deep purple, peripheral bricking noted, soft mouth feel, medium - full bodied, complex and well integrated with a medium long pleasant aftertaste. Nose soft and aromatic with dark plum, kirsch, mocha, rose petals and a hint of smoke. Flavor profile classic well aged Napa cab with controlled oak, dark stone fruit, cassis and more blue- then blackberry up front with a more minerally stone, graphite and coffee mid-palate and a lighter hint of mint or maybe eucalyptus on the finish.

Dark ruby in the glass. Red and black fruits, tobacco, earth, black cherry, sage. Wine is full on the attack the thru the mid w/ a full long smooth finish. Fruit, alcohol, tannins are all well integrated and balanced. 100% cabernet, this is a beautiful wine. Dark fruits, earth, currants, menthol black cherry cough drops, cola. Wish i had more, drinking beautifully.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune. It tastes like cranberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

This is just a great bottle of wine made for sharing with friends. Loads of fruit on the nose...everywhere from bing cherry to black raspberry and blueberries. The palate showed black cherry and baked plums. Tannins are in check now and the wine seemed to lack the acidity needed for the long haul. I would enjoy this in the short term.
