  • Good level and well kept cork.
Reasonably young colour. The nose open up quite nicely, with some fresh cherry fruit hinting behind a mostly tertiary nose globally pleasant. In the mouth well rounded mature Lessona tannins are pleasant at first but the mouth is immediately shorten by a rough acidity you would not expect from such a warmer vintage. This acidity is not only high but also not integrated. One would wonder how it comes up with a good quality tannins. Puzzling for me, and certainly ruining an experience that was otherwise promising, in an appellation and producer that is a landmark for the region in more ancient and recent vintages.
