Drunk at the DC Crü dinner at Brasserie Beck in Washington DC. It was easily one of the favorites of the night, not at all oaky, with notes fo grapefruit and walnuts(?) that was spectacular. One of the other Crüdites and I were lamenting our dwindling stock. I really wish Mark and Gove were still making this wine, I'd buy it by the case.

Pleasant nose tending toward what I think of as Riesling qualities; Palatte is flabby with a flat finish

A nice straw yellow color. Pineapple and coconut on the nose. Sweet on the palate, with a bit of effervescence. Spicy and light acidity on the finish.

Odd flavor. Tasted buttery and sharp at the same time. Not to my taste. One of our tasters loved it, but the other two demurred.
