A bit closer to what I expect from a Willamette Valley with brambly fruit but not much in the way of tannins except for some oaky baking spices that I wish weren't as obtrusive.

Not as enjoyable as my first one, but part of a cellar-thinning exercise anyway. Some heavy sediment, light ruby color with slow legs. Thin, watery, uninteresting, and lacking in bouquet for my senses. Borderline plonk is what keeps entering my mind, though having said that, I did drink the whole bottle. Just so you know how I roll. 4+8+12+5= 79

This is pretty bangorang, with a brilliant sweet-tart (& SweetTart-like) juicy core, full of nectarine and raspberry. A bit of French oak adds a complementary hint of spice, but this doesn't have a hard edge on it. Luscious and pure, and for $15 from Full Pull, an insane deal.
This is why we pursue Pinot.

(AF Nichols Pinot Noir Willamette Valley) UPDATE to Terms & Conditions: We have made two changes to our Terms & Conditions for 2018; one concerning unclaimed orders; the other declined-credit-card orders. Combined they should affect only about 1 in 100 list members. For details see our T&C page, and feel free to send along any questions or concerns. ---- Hello friends. Some of Full Pull’s best offers over the years have come from leads courtesy of our Vast Network of Wine Spies (VNoWS)™. This network is full of winemakers, distributors, enthusiasts—little birdies who hear about wine deals and want us to know about them. Last year, this network was responsible for our introduction to the small Oregon winery AF Nichols. That deal was especially important—the 2014 AF Nichols Willamette Valley Pinot Noir was perhaps the most popular Pinot we offered last year. (In fact, it sold out completely on the first offer.) Today, we’re back with the new vintage, again down considerably from a $22 release price:See key for # of bottles currently available.

Not enough structure to age but fine for a quaffable Oregon style PN.

Fantastic QPR as always. Nose has come on lately...sweet pie cherry with spice notes at a grocery store price.
