  Just intense, vivid ripe blackberry fruit right in your face, both in the nose and in the palate. Pours murky inky purple. Texture on the palate is almost crunchy. You can almost feel the blackberry pips. On the background, there's tiny hints of licorice and spices. Body is medium and finish is very softly tannic with some acidity.
  
  Tried pairing it with raisins, cheddar, roasted almonds and prosciutto and it was beautiful with everything.
  
  Better on the third day.
  
  Irresistible.
