  • From glass, blind. For context, this glass came from the bottle's third or fourth day. Colorwise, looking more mature than the two pinots with it - all gradations of red, even looking a bit bricked. Appealing nose and palate of sour red fruit and tomato, deliciously refreshing but a bit overbroad, watery and empty in places. There was enough of a light leathery quality for me to head towards sangiovese, and with the redder color and the sour fruit maybe an organic or natural one (admittedly this might well be the thought process of someone who hasn't had much natural red wine, which I haven't). Which I'll put down to its being a few days past opening. Not bad, perhaps more concentrated, less tart, and better on its first day.

  • Very easy to drink now full body with powerful red and black fruit in the nose medium body with low acidity not a aging wine to drink before 2024....
