Very dark violet-red. Terroir notes hit first, with heavy garrigue-y scents and tobacco. Air brings sweet blackberry fruit and pepper, as well as an exotic suggestion of marinated bamboo shoots. Definitely sweet palate entry with low acidity and late tannin make this a very user-friendly yet regionally correct example from the Sud. Fantastic value, and still going strong 3 days after opening, showing rounder, almost chocolatey aromas.

Had a small sip and none was left at a large family dinner, so no formal note, but seemed a little lean and thin.

Blackberry, floral component on the nose. Blackberry, tobacco, earth, and violets. Good deal.

something's wrong here. Perhaps some oxidation, but also a plastic flavor....?

Tastes like the Southern Rhone that is, but milder and less interesting than some.
