  • Long session at Wimborne. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of red cherries, sap + meat, touch of earthy minerals. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), sturdy medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe red cherries, red apple, bit of black cherry, ripe sap juice, spice, hint of meat, earthy stones minerality in background. Long finish.
Very good quality. Has like a bit of everything to make this all good. Entering into a good drinking window already.

  • At PnP an appealing and very complex nose with lot of typical NSG forest soil notes. On the palate very packed fruit. Appear too rich and over ripe. I have no clue on how it will develop over time. I prefer a burgundy style with more feminine finesse and complexity. This example is the opposite.
