Super Bowl LVIII 2024 (Alpharetta, GA): Cellar Diving: Full disclosure... palate fatigue was in full effect at this point in the night. I remember enjoying it as a fresh, young, clean Red Burgundy. It is youthful and believe it will be better in 5+ years.

👀 Medium ruby 👃 Pronounced red fruit (cherries), wet leaves, wet stone 👅 Dry, high acidity, low tannin, pronounced ripe cherries, liquorice, blackberry, chocolate, pepper, medium body, long finish
Quality: Outstanding
Kanske ett glädjebetyg men detta vin är väldigt trevligt.

This well-cellared bottle was uncorked and serially tasted over the ensuing three hours, during which time it continued to improve. Medium ruby in color, it flaunts an aromatic profile of Bing cherries, Moyer plums, rose petals, sandalwood and mulling spices. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (13%) and with medium sweet tannins, it delivers flavors in line with the aromas and has just the right amount of oak to complement (but not overwhelm) the fruit. With good mid-palate density and a lengthy finish, this is an impressive village-level cuvée that quite possibly would have merited a higher score with additional aeration. Drink now-2026.

Zoom tasting of Burgundy wines, hosted by Tim Syrad Wines, London, UK. 30% new oak. Medium cherry colour. Great depth on the nose, intensity, earthiness, deep raspberries, strawberries, gentle spicy oak. Rich palate, quite full, showing autumnal fruits, plums. Rich, deep red berry fruit. Good length and in perfect balance. Very good. But pricey.
